What do you like most about being a PT?
I love that no two days are ever the same. Every day brings new patients with new challenges. It forces me to stay on my toes and always strive to continue learning.
How would friends describe you?
Funny, Motivated, Inquisitive, Loyal
Where did you go to college? What was your major?
I went to CUNY College of Staten Island and majored in physical therapy.
What was your first job?
My family owned a bagel store and I started baking bagels on Sunday mornings when I was in 14 years old. I’d go in at 6am and work until noon.
How do you like to stay active?
I am in the gym 3-4 times a week lifting weights and/or running. I currently play hockey once a week and try to golf as much as I can. I’ve run a few half marathons and completed a sprint triathlon but I am looking forward to completing my first marathon later this year.
Do you have a hidden talent?
I would make a great barista. I can make a better cup of coffee, latte or cappuccino than your local coffee house!
How do you recharge?
A quick stretching/foam rolling session followed by a solid 8 hours of sleep and I wake up the next day feeling like a new man.
Mountain cabin, beach house or big city condo?
Beach house for sure. There’s something special about enjoying a morning cup of coffee on a porch with the sound and smell of the ocean in the background.
How many pairs of shoes do you own?
16 pairs, but there are probably at least 5 that I should have thrown away a long time ago.
Do you play a musical instrument?
I used to play the guitar and every now and then I watch a few youtube videos and pretend I still know how to play.
At which store would you like to max-out your credit card?
Definitely Dick’s Sporting Goods. I think I might have actually done this when I started golfing.
