What’s your story — Why did you go into physical therapy?

In high school, I was a varsity soccer and track athlete. After sustaining a back injury, I had been to many different physical therapy clinics for treatment that never seemed to "fix" what was going on. When i finally met a DPT that not only evaluated my spine in a thorough and comprehensive manner, but also took into account who I was as a person and athlete — I was sold! My DPT was so smart and compassionate and different than anyone else I had met. I knew then that this was something I wanted to spend my life doing!

What do you like most about being a physical therapist?

I love giving people hope and helping them get better (and be better!). It’s a great privilege to be able to play a role in helping someone change their body and their perspective for the better.

How would friends describe you?

Optimistic, outgoing, a leader, a hugger!

Where is home and who’s there?

I live in Denville, NJ with my husband, Josh, and our two adorable babies (Lincoln 2.5, Lucy 8 months). We also have a sweet cat named Russia!

Do you have any fun hobbies — besides yoga & running?
I like to paint, I’m a “master veggie gardener”, and I can make a mean berry jam!

How do you recharge?
I recharge by getting outside — Going for a hike, a run, or cutting the lawn while listening to an audiobook/podcast lol!

What is one thing on your bucket list?
I love to travel, so just keep on scratching places off the long list..

Mountain cabin, beach house or big city condo?
Mountain cabin (as long as there’s also a lake to swim and mountain to ski on)!

At which store would you like to max-out your credit card?
Lululemon, J-Crew, and…Babygap lol
