Does Iron Take My Insurance?

We accept most commercial insurance and Medicare for physical therapy. When you contact us, we’ll reach out to your carrier to verify your specific physical therapy coverage.

What if I Got hurt playing school sports?

If calling for a student injured during school sports, please let us know as that insurance typically covers the PT at 100%.

We’ll then call you to discuss the specifics of your plan and your financial responsibility before you come in. There will never be any surprises at your first appointment. While you’re waiting, you can discover more about what makes Iron so special.

Does MY medical insurance cover physical therapy?

Most insurance plans cover physical therapy services that are medically necessary. Again, each plan is different and we are happy to verify your individual coverage.

Do I Need a prescription for physical therapy?

You don’t need a script for PT so you can just contact us directly for your initial evaluation. Under NJ law, you can receive physical therapy treatment from a licensed physical therapist without a physician referral or prescription. This is called “Direct Access” which makes it easier than ever to get the care you need.

Does Iron participate with Medicare?

Iron Physical Therapy participates with Medicare and is a certified Medicare provider.

what if I don’t have health insurance?

If you don't have health insurance or don’t have a plan that covers physical therapy, we offer reasonable cash packages so you can still get the highest level of care Iron offers.
